Golden Gait Australian Shepherds is located in North Florida, near Live Oak and Lake City. We have a small six acre mini-farm where life is good and the living is easy! We are home to five resident Aussies and the spirits of two old timers, recently departed, Boogie, the long haired Chihuahua, and Sara, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. We have  a self proclaimed resident, the Cat and currently three horses, a Spotted Saddle mare, a quarter horse and a FL Cracker.

Being a native Floridian, I take pride in owning a gaited registered Florida Cracker Mare, thirteen and a half hands, Lady Bug, a wonderful and unique little horse. My Father used to tell me of his childhood days in Okeechobee, working cattle with his Grandfather, who also rode a Florida Cracker Horse. I am an ASCA Approved Judge (Senior status pending) and LOVE doing it! Perhaps we will meet at an upcoming show! I do very little breeding but am happy to help you find a reputable breeder in the area. My girls have all their health clearances, but will not be bred this year (2010).

We have an RV hook-up and fenced area for visiting dogs and guests. Please feel free to stop over and visit when in the area.
